Description
The Vibra-Tite 460 High Temperature Thread Sealant is a premium, high-strength anaerobic thread sealant designed for reliable, leak-proof sealing of metal threaded fittings, especially stainless steel and NPT connections used in hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial systems. Formulated with PTFE, this fast-setting sealant delivers an immediate low-pressure seal up to 100 psi and cures fully within 24 hours to provide a durable, vibration-resistant, high-pressure seal up to 10,000 psi without shrinking or cracking like traditional pipe dopes.
With a wide operating temperature range from -65°F to 400°F, Vibra-Tite 460 is ideal for demanding applications where chemical resistance, thermal stability, and long-term sealing performance are critical. This 50mL (1.69 oz) size is perfect for shop use and field service, and is recommended for sealing all NPT adapters and components, including those from OneHydraulics.com, to ensure proper high-pressure sealing.
NOTE: NOTE: This product is recommended for all adapters and components purchased from OneHydraulics.com with NPT connections. Most NPT connections require thread sealant to properly seal at higher pressures. This is our smaller, 50mL (1.69oz) version. For our larger 250mL (8.45oz) version, please see our WS46025.
WARNING: Not recommended for use in pure oxygen or oxygen-rich environments. Avoid use on plastics, especially thermoplastics, as damage may occur. May cause skin and eye irritation—use appropriate protective equipment and avoid prolonged contact. Use in well-ventilated areas and avoid ingestion. Keep container tightly closed when not in use and store in a cool, dry place away from heat.
