Description

The Alfagomma X-C629 Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree, carbon steel hose fittings designed to connect hoses to an O-ring flange with SAE J518 Code 62 standards, offering a strong and reliable connection for high-pressure applications. These fittings are part of the X Series, which features a two-piece Interlock insert designed specifically for spiral wire reinforced hoses. Ferrules are metal rings that are used to create a secure, leak-proof connection between the hose and the fitting. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings allow for easier assembly and disassembly, offering more flexibility during installation, while one-piece fittings are permanent and cannot be adjusted. For optimal performance, the X-C629 fittings require both internal and external skiving (trimming the hose ends) and the use of XF1 or XF2 Interlock ferrules to ensure a tight, secure fit and durability in demanding conditions.
