The Alfagomma A-FM9L Two-Piece Fittings are 90-degree carbon steel hose end fittings designed for connecting hoses to metric O-ring female swivel connections with a 24° seat, specifically used with DIN 3865 light-duty DIN tubes. These fittings are part of the A Series and are compatible with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and smaller ID spiral wire reinforced hoses, ranging from ³⁄₁₆” to 2″ in diameter. Ferrules are small metal pieces that secure the hose to the fitting, ensuring a tight, leak-free connection. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings consist of separate components, allowing for flexibility and easier maintenance, while one-piece fittings are a single, fixed unit, which offers more durability but less flexibility for repairs or adjustments.
