The Alfagomma A-C62S Two-Piece Fittings are straight, carbon steel hose fittings featuring an O-ring flange that conforms to SAE J518 Code 62 standards. These fittings are designed for high-pressure applications and provide secure, leak-proof connections. A key component of these fittings is the ferrule, which is a metal or plastic insert used to tightly compress the hose against the fitting to create a seal. The main difference between two-piece and one-piece fittings is that two-piece fittings are made up of separate parts, such as the ferrule and the fitting itself, which offers greater flexibility for maintenance and repair. In contrast, one-piece fittings are pre-assembled for faster installation but offer less flexibility. The A-C62S Two-Piece Fittings are compatible with wire and textile braided hoses, thermoplastic hoses, Flexor 4, PTFE hoses, and Alfabiotech hoses in sizes ranging from ³⁄₁₆” to 2″ ID, including Alfabiotech 3000 (1 ¼” and 1 ½”) and Alfabiotech 4000 (³⁸” to 1 ¼”).
