The Series FS2503 45-Degree Male ORFS x Male NPT Rigid adapters, made from durable carbon steel, are designed to provide secure, angled connections in fluid and gas transfer systems. These adapters feature a combination of male ORFS (O-Ring Face Seal) and male NPT (National Pipe Tapered) threads, ensuring a reliable, leak-free connection. The male ORFS connection has a straight thread and an O-ring, while the female side has a flat face with a machined surface. The seal is created by compressing the O-ring against the flat face, offering superior leak control. The male NPT threads provide a strong mechanical connection, ensuring durability and stability. Carbon steel construction makes these adapters suitable for high-pressure applications, providing long-lasting performance. Available in other materials like brass and iron for low-pressure systems, these adapters are ideal for a variety of industrial applications. The nominal pipe size is determined by measuring the thread diameter and subtracting 1/4″.
